You have to pat it on the skin instead of rubbing it in. I don't see much difference though, and I've stopped using it. It may be just a personal preference but I don't see much benefit from using this on top of the essence toner and cream.

Maybe my skin not suitable to use creamy and oily products. Somehow I like this balancing gel though kinda cooling. Just that it is not for my dry, sensitive and acne prone skin. I pass the products to my dad and he likes it. Make his face less dry and remove the dead skin.

Dab the product on and pat it in. It leaves a slight sticky feeling after application, can definitely feel the product sitting on your face.
