Great product on hydrating. Given the glue texture of this product, most people found it difficult to apply/layer with other products. Do apply when your face is wet (I put it after toner) then let it dry for about 1-2mins before you put on next skin product. Finished 2 bottles of this and switched to TO Marine HA, found the Marine HA is much more easier to use (with thin consistency) and no pilling with other skincare products, but hydrating strength is poorer than this too

I read somewhere that HA isn't actually very necessary as a step in skincare routines, especially since most products have them mixed in anyway. However for myself, I do find it useful when my skin is peeling from using new products/harsher products or meds and i take a break from those and use HA + loads of moisturiser to restore my skin. Does it work when my skin is not irritated or dehydrated? It's probably placebo but I do feel my skin is "plumper" the next day, and also it's great when you pat your skin too dry after cleansing, and want to spread your actives/creams more easily without using too much product (esp for differin). So when I'm using differin i usually put a thin layer of HA, let it sit for a few seconds to soak in but still have dampness so i can dot tiny amounts of differin and massage that easily.
TLDR wouldnt say it's necessary for everyday routine, but personally great results when skin was dehydrated/irritated/peeling, and good to use with other products that dont spread as easily.

If you are in a country that has high humidity like Singapore, Vietnam. This product works in retaining moisture and draws moisture from the environment. However, I use it when I was in UK during the winter. It was a big mistake because my skin has higher moisture content than the environment. This product increase my skin's dryness and cause me to have pimples around my face.

Ofcourse do be aware that usually in the mornings your skin will definitely look plumper than the night before. thats just the effects of sleeping. But i will say my skin feels hydrated throughout the day. It also feels nice to put on. some people have issues with pilling, but you got to let it dry for like 10-30s before applying moisturiser. I havent had any issues with pilling myself.

I’ve really enjoyed this product. It’s sort of a strange consistency (very thick liquid) but it’s really nice to put on. It dries super fast so I just make sure to moisturise soon after. I haven’t noticed a huge amount of change in my skin from this product specifically but I do think it’s been useful in bringing back moisture to my skin after incorporating a salicylic acid cleanser into my routine :) I would definitely repurchase!

I have recently overexfoliated my skin and am trying to go back to basics. Basics = ZERO products with exfoliating ingredients. So i just bought The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA to go before this moisturizer. So far i have used this regime 3 times – last night, this morning, and tonight. I must say that it did not make anything worse, did not give me random bumps/pimples, my face feels softer, hydration could be better...but what to expect right, my barrier is broken it's gonna take some time! :) I am going to checkout the Cosrx Hydrium Watery Toner now and i can't wait to add it to my routine when it arrives! A little trick for this guy is you have to pat it in instead of rubbing if not it will kind of start to "lather" in that sense?

Bought this because I see alot of good reviews. Hyaluronic Acid attracts water from our surroundings into our skin. After using once a day (at night), for about 3 weeks now, I find my skin more bouncy and hydrated. My breakouts are lesser and blackheads are easier to extract out.
