This has almost everything I’m looking for in a moisturiser - affordability and simplicity with good ingredients and little frills. There are barrier friendly lipids and ceramide, some of my favourite hydrating ingredients like urea, antioxidant amino acids and not much known irritants.
dropping a star because this doesn’t seem enough as a standalone last step. I usually top it off with an occlusive layer with silicones or the like.
Formulation - surprisingly good. Out of the tube it’s consistency definitely seems on the thick side - almost like sunscreen. On the skin however, it quickly softens and “melts” into skin without leaving too much heavy tackiness.

This is a really good moisturizer. After applying, it is not greasy or sticky and skin feels hydrated. I use it twice a day, and even during mid day my skin doesn't feel too oily or whatever. Really good product.

My skin becomes very dry from using tretinoin. I have tried other brands like CeraVe, but this is the only one that is moisturing enough that doesn't leave a sticky and 'heavy' feeling after applying. It's cheap and good!

Was never a fan of moisturizers that are not from my derma, but this is good! I used it for a week then noticed that my skin looked plump and moisturized. Love how it mattifies my skin too. Ok, I had originally only rated this a 3, but after consistent use it has begun to grow on me. Skin looks hydrated and spots look less visible within a few hours of using it. Still don't like it with makeup though.

Pretty meh. Standard moisturiser. Personally find it a bit too thick. Doesn't allow for smooth application of makeup. Will probably buy again only if I'm super desperate.

I have combination skin which is also dehydrated and sensitive. When I use it on days I am in an air-con environment for a long period of time (in a day) it works but when I am not I find it too rich/oily. But that could very well be because of the combination of products I am using: before I apply this, I use Cosrx Snail Essence which is already thick on its own. Monitoring for awhile more before I switch up my routine/change the combination of my skincare products.

I love this moisturiser. It really moisturises very well, but yet doesn't make my skin feel oily. I didn't have any negative reaction to it as well. The only gripe I have with this is that because it is quite thick, it will go on white will rubbing onto the skin and it takes a while for the product to absorb and sink in. But the positives of this moisturiser far outweigh the negative (only one - white cast for awhile until it absorbs). I've already repurchased!

I used NMF as a final step to my AM routine, as it is an emulsion (thick, white cream-to-balm consistency). AM routine consists: Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 -> Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2% -> NMF -> sunscreen -> makeup. It works very well for me.

I find this personally a good mosturiser for oily skin. I uses this for AM skin care routine as it control my oily skin. It apply smoothly on the skin. No sticky feeling. It gives me matte looking skin. Hubby is also sharing this mosturiser with me! 😅 Great product!

Bought this to use together with The Ordinary's Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG for overnight de-puffing and hydration. Did not expect the consistency to be like a thick cream texture (reminds me of a cream cheese texture but slightly stickier) so I was worried it would not be easily applied. Surprisingly, it seems to be absorbed into my skin well right after I used the EGCG and there is no sticky residue.

As a user of gel type moisturisers, this was something a lot heavier than I was used to. But after mixing up the moisturiser I found that it absorbs quickly and is slightly greasy. I mix this with rosehip oil which thins it out a bit. Overall great basic, no frills moisturiser.

I have recently overexfoliated my skin and am trying to go back to basics. Basics = ZERO products with exfoliating ingredients. So i just bought The Ordinary's Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 serum to go with this moisturizer. So far i have used this regime 3 times – last night, this morning, and tonight. I must say that it did not make anything worse, did not give me random bumps/pimples, my face feels softer, hydration could be better...but what to expect right, my barrier is broken it's gonna take some time! :) I am going to checkout the Cosrx Hydrium Watery Toner now and i can't wait to add it to my routine when it arrives! A little trick for this guy is you have to kind of melt it in your fingers and then pat it on your skin instead of rub it in.

Contains HA/ hyaluronic acid which is great for water retention and NMF which also helps in moisturising the skin.
